Abstract

The project aims to explain the various options that exist for alternatives in resolving  disputes, in an overview, highlighting their peculiarities, requirements and advantages, in order to  encourage their uses and contribute to reducing the burden of demands on the judiciary. The focus  of the study is directed to the method of arbitration, working its rules in specific and analyzing the  legislation relevant to the subject. With the foundation of the institutes presented, the legal area in  which it will be applied the use of arbitration, which are consumer relations, dealing with the  historical emergence of consumer law, which consists of a consumer relationship and the  elaboration of the terms treated in the referred Consumer Protection Code, regarding supplier and  consumer, in addition to discussing one of the most central points of consumer relations: the  vulnerability of the consumer to the supplier. Subsequently, the introduction to consumer content,  we seek to deal with subscription contracts, which are found in most consumer relations, compared  to other types of contract. Finally, it concludes with the conclusion of the inquiry made initially, since it proves  that the institute of arbitration to the consumer law is compatible, provided that certain rules are  observed in view of unfair terms.
